It’s the not-too-distant future, and nearly every adult in the world has been wiped out by a plague, leaving roving gangs of twenty-something teenagers to fight for control of the ruins of Los Angeles. Excruciating post-apocalyptic junk, like a mash-up of Mad Max, Logan’s Run, The Warriors, and someone’s home movie collection. Ultra-cheap and poorly produced, plus it’s too much of a dreary plod for cheesy laughs. Of interest only for the surprising number of “names” in the cast—on the one hand, James Earl Jones can faintly class up any stinker; on the other hand, there’s Robbie Benson…
