The fraternity is out, the sorority is in! Contrived sequel has Rogen and Byrne getting new neighbors: an outcast “sorority” that just wants to party, led by slacker stoner Moretz. Initially, the wannabe-sisters are assisted by aimless Efron (who appreciates feeling needed again), but then they toss him to the curb, so he allies himself with his former enemies to get the girls kicked out before their out-of-control shenanigans ruin Rogen and Byrne’s efforts to sell their house. Some funny moments, but they’re harder to find this time; Byrne doesn’t get as much to do, and the antagonist crew, in addition to lacking an interesting relationship with the “grown-ups,” aren’t likable or even all that humorous, which makes the back-and-forth more frustrating than farcical. Feldstein’s film debut; Lisa Kudrow, Kyle Mooney, and Selena Gomez cameo.
