More of the same, as bad as ever before, with an especially underwhelming and unsatisfying wrap-up/revelation. There’s some measure of value in seeing that most of the victims are white collar villains (representative of heartless healthcare insurers and predatory lenders), but that piteous stab at relevance only makes the series’ now-hackneyed execution—no pun intended—all the more unbearable. Jigsaw’s “immortality” is as ridiculous (in a different way) as the slasher superstars by now. I saw six Saw’s and this sick sixth Saw sucks.
